Kate Greene is the co-founder and President of Human Resource Partners. Kate is a strategic partner with organizations to improve employee communication and performance through training, systems implementation and one-on-one coaching. Kate’s clients include front-line supervisors and middle managers, to senior executives, boards and owners in small to multi-million dollar organizations. Throughout her career, Kate has focused on recruiting strong contributors and developing managerial and leadership skills in the organizations and clients she supports.
In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University, Kate has attained the highest of professional certifications, including a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR, 2001) and Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR, 2006). In 2008 she became a certified facilitator of Ken Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II, one of the most effective leadership development programs in the world.
Kate is a published author of numerous articles on human resource and training-related topics, and an instructor with Northwestern Michigan College Extended Education. As a community leader, she has served on several boards, including the Traverse Area Human Resources Association (President), the Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce, the Community Reconciliation Service, and the Michigan State Human Resources Association.

Michelle has over 20 years of experience working with organizations to recruit talent, implement human resource systems and to help organizations with HR compliance. Michelle is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by two professional programs, HRCI and SHRM, and is a graduate of Michigan State University. She has worked as an HR professional in a variety of industries throughout Michigan, New York and Wisconsin specializing in policy and procedure development, recruiting and hiring and employee relations. She has developed and led numerous training programs focusing on management skills, interviewing, discrimination and HR administration.

Jennifer Ewing has been practicing human resources and health & safety management for over twenty years in both union and non-union environments. Jennifer is a strategic contributor in developing cultures of employee engagement, wellness and people-based safety. Her expertise includes human resources and safety policy/procedure development, leadership training, and lean office processes. During her career, organizations Jennifer has worked with have received both the Michigan OSHA Platinum and MSHARP awards. Additionally, Jennifer was a strategic leader in creating a culture of wellness that was recognized as a finalist in through the “Michigan Healthier Employers” project. She has developed a number of supervisory training programs focusing on coaching, motivation and legal compliance.
Jennifer is certified as both a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). She holds her MBA from Michigan State University and her BSBA from Central Michigan University. Jennifer is an Adjunct Professor through Davenport University’s MBA program where she teaches human resources classes including “Human Resources Management,” “Organizational Training and Development,” and “Advanced Problem Solving in HR Management.” She is active in the community, serving on many boards over the years including the Traverse Area Human Resources Association (Past-President), Grand Traverse Industries and the MiOSHA General Industry Standards Commission (Past-Chair).
